6. POLTERGEIST

Nữ diễn viên 22 tuổi Dominique Dunne bị bạn trai giết hại không lâu sau khi bộ phim ra mắt. Trong khi cô bé Heather O’Rourke , một diễn viên nhí trong phim chết do bị sốc nhiễm trùng khi đang đóng phần ba của phim. Khi ấy, cô bé mới 12 tuổi. Hai diễn viên khác cũng chết trong thời gian thực hiện loạt phim này.
5. THE DARK KNIGHT

Nam diễn viên gạo cội Morgan Freeman thì gặp phải một tai nạn xe hơi nghiêm trọng, khiến giới truyền thông phải đặt vấn đề đến điềm gở nào đó bao quanh bộ phim. Một vài thành viên trong đoàn làm phim đã chết khi đang thực hiện các cảnh hành động, và người ta có thể tin vào một lời nguyền đang phủ lên chàng hiệp sĩ áo choàng đen.
4. SUPERMAN
Lời nguyền được biết đến nhiều nhất chính là ở nhân vật anh hùng nổi tiếng này. Lời nguyền nói rằng: “Nếu ngươi đóng vai người đàn ông mạnh nhất trái đất, ngươi sẽ chết hoặc kết thúc đời mình ở vị trí thảm hại nhất”.
Christoper Reeve, người thủ vai siêu nhân những năm 80, bị liệt toàn thân sau một cú ngã ngựa. Ông qua đời 9 năm sau đó trong một cơn nhồi máu cơ tim. Trước đó, Superman trong một serie phim truyền hình George Reeve, được phát hiện chết ở nhà riêng với một vết súng ngắn, chỉ vài ngày trước lễ cưới của mình. Người ta kết luận ông tự sát, nhưng ít ai tin vì sự nghiệp của George đang rất thành công.
Lee Quigley, diễn viên nhí từng vào vai Siêu nhân thời thơ ấu trong bộ phim năm 1978, chết vì bệnh suyễn khi mới 14 tuổi.
Brandon Routh đã sống sót sau lời nguyền, nhưng sự nghiệp của anh đang chững lại đáng kể sau bộ phim “Siêu nhân trở lại” năm 2006. (Nam diễn viên Dean Cain cũng tương tự). Và không phải chỉ những ai đóng vai Siêu nhân mới bị nguyền rủa. Margot Kidder (vai Lois Lane – người yêu superman) thì bị phát điên. Trong khi đó, Richard Pryor, người đóng vai phản diện trong phim, thì qua đời trong một cơn trụy tim.
Còn một danh sách dài những nhà sản xuất, diễn viên đóng thế, những người liên quan qua đời hoặc gặp bất hạnh trong quá trình làm phim. Thế nên dễ hiểu vì sao anh chàng điển trai Ashton Kutcher đã từ chối thẳng thừng lời mời đóng vai Siêu nhân ngay lập tức.
3. THE EXORCIST
Bộ phim được nhiều nhà bình luận cho là “đáng sợ nhất mọi thời đại” đã tạo ra hiệu ứng mãnh liệt khi lần đầu công chiếu vào năm 1973. Và chính nó là mình chứng rõ ràng nhất cho thông điệp: “Một trong những bài học lớn bạn nên học lấy ở đời, là đừng làm phiền đến quỷ dữ”.
Vài thành viên trong gia đình các diễn viên chết suốt thời gian thực hiện bộ phim, một vài thành viên trong đoàn làm phim cũng thế. Diễn viên Jack McGowen dù chỉ đóng một vai nhỏ đã chết vì trụy tim không lâu sau khi hoàn thành bộ phim. Phim trường bị cháy thành tro dù không ai ở đó.
Những tai nạn liên tiếp làm các thành viên đoàn phim hoảng sợ đến nỗi phải mời một Nhà cầu hồn thực sự đến làm lễ cho cả bộ phim. Sau khi phim công chiếu, có nhiều báo cáo về việc khán giả bị điên loạn, ngất xỉu, trầm cảm… đến nỗi bộ phim bị cấm chiếu ở một số quốc gia.
2. ATUK
Bạn chưa từng nghe đến bộ phim hài này? Về một người Eskimo cố gắng để sống sót ở New York? Đó là vì nó chưa bao giờ được hoàn thành, bởi một số lý do. Kịch bản được viết vào thập niên 70 và diễn viên chính đã được chọn sẵn – John Belushi. Anh chàng hài hước này đang chuẩn bị cho vai diễn thì chết đột ngột do dùng thuốc quá liều.
Vai diễn được trao cho Sam Kinison vài năm sau đó. Sau khi làm việc cùng đoàn làm phim nửa ngày, anh ta đề nghị thay đổi kịch bản và bộ phim bị hoãn lại.
